... is that on my way to work every day I always see a different shoe laying by itself in the street somewhere along my route.  Why, and moreso how does this happen?  Are these from people that get hit while crossing the street, or do they accidently fall off when driving and somehow bounce out of the car window?  Whatever it may be, I have a feeling it is somehow connected to the phenomenon of how there is always one missing sock after you do a load of laundry.  I WANT ANSWERS!!
